From the vineyard, two Pinot Noir clones were selected in a blend of 40% 667 and 60% Pommard. It is a marriage of a light, elegant, workhorse structural base (667) with a heavier bodied, more tannic and darker colored Pommard.
The result is a wine exhibiting a complex fruit aroma, almost perfume in nature. Hinted flavors of dark fruit and blackberry make it a delight to pair with salads and light foods.
