This full-bodied Barbera exudes an aroma of maple, brown sugar, cinnamon, mint, thyme, eucalyptus, leather, and even a little smoke. Followed with flavors of butter, brown butter, caramel, and smoked jerky. It offers a great balance of acidity and tannin, taste is all up front, wraps with simple finish but it does linger.
